On Saturday, in the area of Calico Jack’s (9115 Center St) a citizen(s) may have touched an injured bat. That bat was found to have rabies and anyone in physical contact with the animal is at a high-risk of having contracted rabies. Immediately contact the numbers listed in the release if you were in contact with this animal on Saturday. There is no threat to the general public.
